Whenever I'm out on the Peninsula I stop by for coffee and a baked treat and am always happy I did. However, today I ordered the cream of cauliflower soup. YUK! It was a white foamy, bland concoction. I had expected something rich and savory. Very disappointed.

I was in your bakery last week, visiting from California, and can't get your yummy morning glory muffin out of my mind. Do you share recipes?

Every time I come to the Long Beach Peninsula this is on my list of must go places. Great homemade soups, delicious sandwiches, and the baked items are to die for (be sure to try the chocolate espresso cookies... but only if you want another addiction!

Back in the 60's my grandpa 'Bill Christie' owned this place. It was the country store, post office and there were gas pumps in front. I have some wonderful memories of the store and house.

Have to have lunch every time I come down for a week in my condo. I especially appreciate your being open on Mondays since few places are open that day!

This trip I had the BEST pastrami sandwich ever. Bread was not soggy; meat not too salty, sauerkraut the best. That plus the homemade beet soup was just great.

See you again in August.

Jayne, my friends loved, loved, loved the lemon ginger scones! Sandy from Oregon disagreed with me about your scones being the best in Washington--she has declared your scones the best in the whole Northwest. Wear the crown proudly!

I stopped at your cafe on my first visit to the peninsula. Thank you for the friendly service and great food. I tried portobello mushroom sandwich and apricot coffee cake. Both delicious. Our dog enjoyed the biscuits.

Oh my! Your chocolate espresso cookies are par excellent. I saved mine until we got back to home (Vancouver) so I could enjoy it along with a cup of tea. Haven't had anything from your hands yet that wasn't scrumptious.
Thank you for your commitment to excellent baking!
